In this review, we do a mini review of the Exceed MadBash 1/8 Nitro Rally Almost Ready To Run version which comes almost ready to run right out of the box, so you will need to supply your own receiver/transmitter.
Exceed MadBash Features
The Exceed MadBash 1/8 Nitro Rally comes with a .28 engine, polished aluminum chassis, adjustable 16MM Big Bore threaded aluminum shocks, Front Constant Velocity Driveshaft (CVD), robust front and rear bumpers, and lots of aluminum parts.
You also have full adjustability for the camber, toe, steering Ackermann, amongst other adjustability options. The geared differentials in the front, middle and rear are oil-filled so you can change the oil in them to tune the handling characteristics of power distribution in front, rear and center.
The stock tires are massive, off-road, short-course style tires. They are very sticky and would suit most terrains.
Exceed MadBash Mini Review
With a .28 engine, the Exceed MadBrush is able to reach 35-40 mph. The engine runs great and fast without any issues.
The Exceed MadBrush is average in terms of durability. During a run at top speed, I ended up breaking the a-arm and the rear bumper after several crashes.
You do not want to slam it head on at full speed, if only because parts availability are hard to come by if you end up breaking any parts.
The Exceed MadBash 1/8 Nitro short course truck offers a fun drive time, however its durability leaves much to be desired. If you are looking for a 1/8th Short Course Truck to race around your yard and doesn’t require much modification, this is a good option. However, if you are looking to do jumps or race at your local tracks, there are better 1/8 scale short course truck options out there.
